as usual messed about with the computer most of the day checking the e-mails and updating my monthly expenditure accounts.  I also downloaded a Forex trading system - the Forex Mutant system which is, like the rest, an almost guaranteed way of making a million pounds - or rather dollars - with a few trades.  I like to see what they say and then try them out on a demo account.  This one displays indicators of when to buy and sell leaving me with the option of actually buying or selling - unlike some which place the order.  It is like a bit of a toy which helps pass along wet and cold days.

I also looked on the Family Blog but there have been no posts for a while.  Last year there were numerous seasonal greetings from family members, but Christmas and New Year seem to have slipped by blogless this year.  Blogging was a good thing while little mum was alive for postings as to her well being but it has now, I think, had its day.  I briefly thought about putting my diary on there for all the world to read but decided not to.

At the beginning of January the mornings are still dark until eight o’clock or so - this morning exceptionally so.
